Phison is seeking a Technical Account Program Manager to support our growing portfolio of US-based customers across enterprise, and consumer electronics markets. This role is ideal for a technically strong, customer-focused professional with hands-on storage experience who thrives in a cross-functional, globally connected environment.
Working at the intersection of customer success and engineering, this postion will serve as the primary technical point of contact for key accounts, owning the design-in process, aligning customer needs with Phison’s product capabilities, and acting as the vital bridge between US-based clients and our Taiwan engineering headquarters. This role spans a diverse range of end markets, requiring both versatility and depth in understanding how storage solutions are applied across different customer environments and use cases.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead relationships with key accounts across enterprise, and consumer electronics segments, driving the design-in process to ensure Phison’s solutions are optimized for each customer’s environment.
- Serve as the critical link between US-based customers and our Taiwan engineering headquarters, translating technical requirements and resolving complex issues across time zones and cultures.
- Support the PASCARI product roadmap by capturing customer feedback and ensuring consistent value delivery across a diverse client base.
- Manage the full project lifecycle by tracking milestones, mitigating risks, and ensuring timely delivery across all active engagements.
Key Requirements:
- Bilingual Proficiency: Fluency in both English and Mandarin is essential for navigating the technical and cultural nuances between the US market and our Taiwan-based engineering teams.
- Storage Expertise: Practical knowledge of SSD product lifecycles and the broader storage ecosystem, with experience applying that knowledge across multiple end markets such as enterprise data centers or consumer devices applications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3–5 years of experience in a technical account management, field application engineering, or customer-facing engineering role within the semiconductor or storage industry.
- Solid understanding of NAND flash storage technologies, SSD controllers, and storage protocols such as NVMe, and SATA.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams — including engineering, sales, and product management — in a fast-paced, global environment.
- Familiarity with customer qualification processes and product validation cycles across at least one of the following segments: enterprise/data center or consumer electronics.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for both engineering and business audiences.
